Reusable cotton pads

Switching from disposable cotton pads to reusable ones was something that had been high on my to-do list for a long time. I used to go through about two cotton pads a day. That may not seem like much, but over the course of a year that’s a lot of garbage. Unnecessary garbage. Since making the switch to reusable ones I would never go back to what I used to use. Here is why.

1. You can find a huge variety of reusable cotton pads online on places like Etsy. You can choose whatever color, print and fabric you like. They are often hand-made by one-person companies. A lot more ethical than your supermarket cialis frankreich.

2. There is a huge difference in quality between the disposable ones and the reusable ones. Reusable cotton pads are usually made from soft organic cotton and feel so much more luxurious. Another benefit is that they suck up less product, so you will waste less and save money.

3. The price. Buying one pack of reusable cotton pads for ten euros might seem steep at first, but on the long run, it is so much cheaper than buying a 1 euro bag of disposable cotton pads each month. In less than a year, you will have gotten your money’s worth with the reusable variety.

4. Reusable cotton pads are very eco-friendly. Instead of tossing them after use, you just put them in with the rest of your laundry and use them over and over again.

This switch was another step towards a more eco-friendly lifestyle for me. I’m finding that when you find a reusable alternative to an otherwise disposable item, the quality is often much much better. You get a sturdy, durable item instead of a flimsy one. I am now looking into more alternatives like this and will keep you posted about my worth wile findings.
