Two weeks ago, I wrote a review about the Dr. Organic Virgin Olive Oil Face Mask. I was really impressed by the quality of the product and I mentioned that I wanted to try out some more Dr. Organic products. After that, I went to the store and picked out a few of their products that I was most curious about. One of them was the Vitamin E Body Butter. Dr. Organic describes it as a ‘Richly hydrating and restoring body butter with Aloe Vera, Shea Butter and Jojoba.
The Vitamin E Body Butter comes in a plain looking jar with a sunflower and some writing on the front. It has a pull-up lid on the inside to keep the product from spilling. The product itself is a thick cream that applies smoothly on the skin. It is a very white cream, so it needs to be rubbed in properly to become transparent.
The scent of this product is very mild. It smells a little sour to me, not the best scent. When I’ve applied the body butter, I can hardly detect it on my skin, so it doesn’t really bother me. I personally prefer more exciting smelling body lotions/butters (Lush has spoiled me in this department). When I finish this product, I might try another body butter from Dr. Organic in a different scent, like the Pomegranate Body Butter.
I applied this product for the first time after taking an evening shower. The next morning, I noticed that my skin felt softer and smoother. Especially on my (usually dry) legs. I kept on applying the body lotion royally every day for a week and noticed that after that my skin got even smoother. This is definitely the most hydrating body lotion/butter that I’ve ever tried. I would highly recommend it if you are suffering from dry to very dry skin on your body.
You can buy the Vitamin E Body Butter here for around 12,50 EUR.
The product featured in this post is vegan and cruelty free.
