Review: e.l.f. Essential Lip Balm Tint

I don’t know about you, but there is just something about e.l.f.that keeps in me interested in the brand. Some of their products are complete misses, but the hits are like little diamonds. The Lip Balm Tints are of the second category: awesome. So let’s have a look at them.

This Lip Balm Tint is called Berry. Granted, not a lot of thought went into the name, but the product itself makes up for that. It feels moisturizing on the lips and lasts a few hours. Reapplication can be done with your fingers straight from the jar or, a bit fancier, with a lip brush. The color payoff is just enough to bring some life back into bare lips.

Grapefruit is more of a vibrant coral/peachy color. It is a slightly warmer option (more of a summer color for me). The texture of Grapefruit is different from Berry as it is softer and creamier. The effect on the lips is very similar though. This balm reminds me a lot of the Korres Lip Balms (dupes?).

Berry and Grapefruit swatched

As you may have noticed, I am pretty fond of these balms. They are the perfect to give a touch of color to your lips and make yourself look more alive. They are low maintenance and easy to throw in your purse wherever you go. On top of that they are so affordable and completely cruelty free.

You can buy this product here for € 2,50.
