It might be a little late for me to start writing this post because March is already here, but I am going to do it anyway. I’ve discovered some really good products in February. Some of them I have already reviewed and others are new to this blog. My favorites feature some gorgeous make-up items and as per usual Lush products make an appearance as well. On to the products.
Ever since I got into vegan and cruelty free cosmetics, I’ve been discovering so many awesome products that I would never have even known if I kept on buying non vegan products. I love that. In fact, there are so many cruelty free brands that make insanely beautiful cosmetics, that my wishlist has been growing exponentially. I present to you twenty makeup products that tickle my animal loving fancy.
I’ve had the Sleek Face Contour Kit for about half a year now so it was about time for me to write a review about it. This product contains a contour powder and a small neutral highlighter. It has received a lot of rave on the internet and is a holy grail product for lots of beauty bloggers. Let’s see how I feel about this product…
The pigmentation of Sleek powders is amazing. However, that same amazing pigmentation can create an instant clown-face if not approached with the lightest hand. I therefore have a love/hate relation with some of my Sleek blushes. They are just so easy to overdo and have the potential of ruining your entire look. That is why I went to a store in Antwerp that sells Sleek blushes and swatched them all. I came home with Flamingo and Pixie Pink. These two blushes seemed to have the most ‘workable’ opacity.
I finally gathered enough vegan makeup products to create a look that I am truly comfortable with cialis in deutschland. A ton of research and a huge GOSH sale at my local drugstore helped a lot. The look that I came up with is really simple with a neutral matte eye and a bold red lip. To spice up my hair I used Lush Sea Spray. Love the effect and scent of that product.
Oh yes, finally a new post! I have indeed been a bad blogger. My excuse: I had an exhibition this month that required my full attention. The good news: it is now rounded up so I can go back to my usual sporadic blogging ways. My first post-stress article will be a chit-chat about my favorites of the month. It will feature only vegan products.
Effy is a character in the British tv-show ‘Skins’. She’s one of the most important characters in season 3 and 4. Skins has an incredible stylist and make-up artist. This look is one of the most ‘famous’ looks in Skins. It is a very special look and a lot of beautybloggers have tried to remake it. As we also really love it, we decided to both recreate it so you guys could see that you can use a whole bunch of different products to get the Effy-look. Also the shape of our eyes is different, which might be interesting. It is intriguing how a look that seems this easy can be this sophisticated. It both took us a while to get the ’round’ shape of the smokey eye right. This is what the original look looks like.
